CompTIA Cybersecurity+ and CompTIA Net+ are two of the most important certifications that you’ll need, if you’re new to cybersecurity. Here is why: There is a little-known government regulation called DOD-8570. Although technically it has been updated as DOD-8140, the chart used the DOD-8570 old format. The document states that you need to have at least one certification if you are in a job that could expose you to sensitive data. CompTIA Security+ is usually the minimum required.
