How can I get a job in Cybersecurity without a degree
CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA Security+ are the most important certifications you need if you are brand new to cybersecurity. This is because of a less-known government regulation, DOD-8570. It has been technically updated to DOD-8140. However, it still uses the DOD-8570 chart. It states that if you are in a position where you might be exposed to sensitive government data, then you must have at least one of the certifications they have listed for that position. CompTIA Security+ is usually the minimum required. This certification is required by even companies that are not going to work with the government. If you get these certifications, the demand for your skills is very strong and you should have no problem getting placed.
