Why Cybersecurity?

There are many opportunities for career advancement in cybersecurity, which is a rapidly growing industry. Cyberseek says there are almost 500k job openings. What do cybersecurity workers prefer-a degree or certifications?
The cost of a cybersecurity degree is higher than a certification, and it takes more time. Although the degree gives you a broad understanding that can be used in many industries, it does not have as many hands-on skills.
The right certification demonstrates that you have a specific skill the employer wants. The law also requires you to have the right certification (see above). Because of all this, according to a recent Information Week’s, Dark Reading salary survey, 70% of workers in cybersecurity said certifications were the most important training in developing their career. only 10% said a bachelor’s degree and 5% said a master’s degree.

How can I finish the training in just five weeks?
Our Cyber Security IT Professional program is designed to do just that. The curriculum and hands-on labs are developed by Microsoft and the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) – globally recognized industry representatives.
How can I get hired as a Cybersecurity professional without a degree?
CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA Security+ are the most important certifications you need if you are brand new to cybersecurity. This is because of a less-known government regulation, DOD-8570. Although technically it has been updated as DOD-8140, the chart used the DOD-8570 old format. You need at least one of these certifications if your position might expose you to sensitive government information. Typically the minimum asked for is CompTIA Security+. This certification is requested by companies even if they will not work for the government. You should be able to get a job if you have these certifications.
