Employers want to see that you have the right certification. Also, there is a legal requirement (see above). All this is why, according to the recent Information Week Dark Reading salary survey 70% of cybersecurity workers said that certifications were their most important training. Only 10% of respondents said they had a bachelor’s or master’s degree, while 5% said they had a combination.

How can I finish the training in just five weeks?

How can I get a job in Cybersecurity without a degree
CompTIA Security+ and CompTIA Network+ are the most crucial certifications you’ll need if cybersecurity is your first topic. This is because of a less-known government regulation, DOD-8570. Technically, it has been updated by DOD-8140 but still uses the DOD-8570 chart. You must hold at least one certification if you’re in a situation where sensitive government data might be available to you. CompTIA Security+ usually is the minimum certification required. This certification is required by even companies that are not going to work with the government. If you get these certifications, the demand for your skills is very strong and you should have no problem getting placed.
